Last but not least, ESDO cordially endorsed the 2nd Colorectal Cancer Patient Conference held July 5-6 alongside the 15th ESMO World Congress on GI Cancer in Barcelona (co-funded by the Health Programme of the European Union). It is the only conference of its kind for colorectal cancer patients in Europe. Delegates included patients, their carers, clinicians and politicians from across Europe, as well as leading expert speakers, including ESDO President Professor Eric Van Cutsem. ESDO supports EuropaColon´s belief that the citizens of Europe need to take responsibility for their own health and that of their families. By sharing their experiences and calling for change patients have the strongest voice of all in the field of health and prevention. Please visit www.europacolon.com where a full report of the 2nd Colorectal Cancer Patient Conference will be available online at the end of September.
